Pl-l800 problem:

Hadn't used my Pioneer PL-L800 TT in a while and when I tried it today it seemed to be fluctuating a bit on 33 rpm with the lock light having the odd flickering at times but only on 33 and on 45 it's working like a champ so I 'm now wondering if it's a control cleaning it needs or ????

If is close to Pl-l1000, which I have, there is a procedure described in service manual to adjust platter control circuit. It requires the use of oscilloscope though.
