Have you all heard any of those "chi-fi" planar in ear monitors on amazon? I ask about planar ones as a fan of the electrostatic sound. Seems like few buyers of these amazon IEM's come from big stereo setups -- not that there's anything wrong with that 
I got myself some Letshuoer Z12's as a late birthday gift for myself and have been blown away by the bass and imaging because.... well......, they're really just fancy earbuds. I lost one because the cable got detached and since they're earbuds it's long gone now. $169 gone !! However I was fortunate enough to be able to afford the "best" ones currently made right now, the 7Hz timeless. These are $219, which is still 30 dollars less than the popular AirPods Pro. And boy do even the cheapest contemporary Chinese IEM's blow those AirPods away. It's interesting stuff for sure!!!
