Please help ID these speakers

Well, I picked these up for a reasonable price. Needed to be re-foamed. I have never heard of this brand - yes, one of them had a badge, but somewhere between the shop I got them at and my car it fell off and I for the life of me cant recall what it said. So, hope that someone knows what they are.
Very well made, sturdy and heavy cabinets - main reason I thought to give them a try. Got them re-foamed and they sound very nice - great soundstage - I'm very surprised, actually. Another surprise - very nice low end - great for the 8 inchers, guess due to large front port?. Very clean and pleasant tweeter. They have a fuse for the tweeter. Overall, I am very pleased with these. Didnt take out the tweeters, just the woofers. Here are the pics:

Code on the woofer doesn't come up with anything recognizable (237 or 727). '-4' could mean they were matching drivers and this one was -4db compared to the standard. Consistent with the effort went into the rest of this speaker.

Any markings on the tweeter?
 
In some ways it looks like a Spectrum Speaker, out of Toledo Ohio. If it is actually a Spectrum, it ought to be very good. They are reputed to have matched drivers to 1 dB, which must have meant a huge rejection rate, which might have something to do with their going out of business.
 
From what I have read so far, model 108 has serial numbers starting with 108. Also, it seems that they had non-removable grills.
Mine, however, have serial numbers starting with 109 (and are consecutive), plus have grills that are designed to be removable. I wonder if mine are later/updated version of 108s?

Any pics of the crossovers?
 
For a two way with drivers close together I am not surprised. Sometimes just a cap and inductor is enough.

Cool speakers. I like the cubic format. A serious 'bookshelf' speaker!
 
I have the original version with the cone tweeter and the next with a dome, but seems a different dome than yours - though I haven't looked at them in a year or two. The original is a very nice speaker, I didn't find the second model as sweet, but I haven't done anything about the crossover.
Originally they came with a replacement fuse hot melt glued to the speaker receptacle. Just an amusing fact.
