Bought a nice Fisher 420220731_180727.jpg 20220731_180738.jpg 20220731_180812.jpg 00 earlier and these came along.

12" woofer - 5" mid - horn tweeter.

Rubber surrounds.

28" tall cabinet. Extremely heavy

Nice solid wood cabinet.

Listening with my 500b. These sound quite nice and seem quite efficient.

Came with no grills and I see no other id.

Please help me identify them.

I'm almost certain those are Speakerlab's, but I can't find the right model.

Yep - thought about them. They did use that ribbed woofer, but a lot of other companies did too.

Soo many Speakerlab models...I couldn't find an exact match either.

I know Speakerlab used good components, but these sound soo good, I thought they could be Altec's.

I think someone else asked about those a couple weeks ago.
Might have been a speaker I.D. thread posted recently.

I'm not super familiar with SpeakerLabs but most of the Speakerlabs I've seen typically have Lots of excess silicone on the edges of the frame .

They do look Speakerlab. If that's the EV T350 tweeter in there, you'd really have something. They also used the smaller magnet T35, I believe, in some models.

The tweeter sounds awesome. Reminds me of the 075's my brother has in his vintage JBL's.

I'm guessing the EV T350 is well regarded?

Speakerlab sold many of their systems as kits. Could order with their cabinets or also fully assembled. With the cheapest kit you got the drivers crossovers etc and I believe plans for a cabinet.

Looking at some old Speakerlab catalogs looks like it could be a Speakerlab 4 vintage 1978. They show a big magnet HT350 so those could have the EV T350.

Found a site with old Speakerlab catalogs. Look through the 1978 S4 looks very similar someone may have built their own cabinet.

Thanks dly66 By the size of the tweeter I'm thinking T35 as they are fairly small.

Im amazed at how good they sound.

I have some Speakerlab 2 ways that I thought were sleepers. These 3 ways are another 2 levels up.

Spot on. I believe these are S4's with the T 350 tweeter.

Looks like an exact match...dimensions...driver array...heavy walnut cabinets.

Looks like I got lucky here. These are excellent acoustic suspended speakers.

Thanks again for your help.
