Hello fellow friends!! So I have been trying to find the value of my Kenwood KD-500 Direct Drive Stereo turntable and see that prices for sold listings on ebay range from $500-$2,000!!! Mine is in mint condition but does not have original box. Could anyone PLEASE tell me what they think on this?
So in advance THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP!!!! I appreciate it so very much!

E bay is your friend. Set a reserve. Folks are nuts. Learn how to pack a turntable before you ship or it will get destroyed.

The 500 came without an arm so what arm it has and the cartridge will cause a range of 500-2000.

Post a pic.

the dollars and sense forum will have this thread soon and your post will be edited to remove the sales info but you will get some answers.

PICTURES UPLOADED :)

Cantilever on stylus is bent :wtf:. Just happened when they were "moving things" ill take more pics. THANK YOU GUYS FOR helping me determine its worth. Its for a cause that is more than paying it forward

Cart looks to be toast. If it holds the selected speed
and doesn't have and motor issues 350 on the low side to 450-500 on the high side. The photos dont show enough of the overall condition. As mentioned the covers on these are often cracked or have hinge issues. When they work well, with a good arm and cart they will sound way beyond their price

Looks like it's sporting a Pioneer PA 1000 tonearm eh? Might do better selling the table and arm separately, check eBay for recent sales of each.

I added a couple more pics if you could maybe check it out?

I am not sure? Should I take a couple more pics?

It's a nice setup, why not buy it for yourself if it's for a good cause? Would take some serious coin to better it with anything new.

My estimate for value with the arm $550 to $650, the working lid is worth $100. Really at $650 its still a huge bargain being it's an endgame table for most.
