Please help me with my Grundig

Hello! I have an old Grundig KS 752 U stereo console that I just brought home and upon plugging it in I found that the lights, audio, and turntable do not operate. The only way that I know it's on is a slightly audible "click" that comes from the speakers. I was thinking it could be a fuse but please, if anybody has ideas on how I could get this fixed up, please let me know!
P.S. I know my way around HiFi equipment but I'm not very good with technical work (i.e. Circuitry)

If you never worked on any gear before, this is not a good one to start on. German sets, while they sound great and are good performers, are rather difficult to work on. Parts are in tight spots and some parts, especially resistors, are rather brittle and very easy to break. They are also rather more complicated that your average American set. The push buttons can be a hassle and (this may be what is wrong with yours) the power switch, tied into the push buttons, can fail.

The power switch problem is really quite common. The switch can be jumped, but then you will have to unplug the set to shut it off. To be able to work on these, you really need to know what you are doing. I would not recommend one for someone just getting into working on sets.

Thank you very much! So it sounds like this is one I should take in to get fixed. I'm not complaining however... seeing how I got it for free from a local museum!

I have the same model, does anyone know what number/ type tube goes in the tuner section? It’s a 9 pin.

I think the info you need is in that link. I don't see any tubes in the schematics. If they are from your same model, the connector could be some interconnect to other modules.
