Please help me with vintage lenco L65TT/HEA

Hello,

I'm new in the whole vinyl thing and bought myself a lenco L65 with HEA9000 amp at a local garage sale for 40 euro's.

Everything was working fine for a few weeks but now I have a problem with the right channel.

The right channel is super silent and it's on all the inputs (phono, FM, ...) and I've managed to rule out some things:
So I tought it was a speaker thing at first because I bought 2 Technics SB-660 speakers that were as good as new, still in the box. (those are 8ohm and 70watts I guess)

The thing is when I connect my headphones to either one of the two inputs on the amp, the right side is almost inaudible. When I only listen with my right ear, I can hear some music but playing with volume doesn't change much and balance doesn't either.

The connections that hold the fuses were a little bit black (like burnt or something) So I went on and cleaned the connections a little and change the fuses for the left and right channel, still no solution.

Also playing with the buttons and selecting mono or phono, balanced or LS1 or 2or anything doesn't change it.

What's also strange is when I power on the unit I get a little poof on both sides of my headphones. And when turning it off, I hear like radio channel static left and right, going down in volume until completely off.
I've now desoldered the Turntable to take a closer look but all the transistors and caps seem just fine.

Can you guys help me out with this since the setup sounded really great, for that little money, I don't want to be buying new gear...

Have no idea about the problem.

I just wanted to say that is a very nice looking unit you got there!!! Love the all in one approach. It is the first ones that I have seen that I would actually want in my collection. Very nice score.

Hi Boonaroo, thanks for the reply! I also think I got a pretty good deal as they seem to be pretty rare and sound awesome :)
I just got my dad's vinyl collection (about 300 pcs) so it will keep me busy for a while ;)
 
There are no preamp-power amp jumpers in the rear, right? I would suspect of the right channel in the preamp section (since you mention that the problem is present with the headphones). You may start by verifying the voltages provided by the power source, as those electrolytic caps in there (and also the diodes) may be already defective.

Can anybody point me to any good tutorial for checking the voltages. I have a voltage meter but never used it on things such as the inner works of an amp...
Is there a difference to a voltage meter I use for light sockets etc to the ones used for more delicate things such as this? or are they all the same?
 
@mfrench Those were just to show the black fuse holders. I've cleaned them a little bit but the brand new fuses are in place actually. Thought it might give you an idea of whether it could be the problem with those fuse holders...

It's actually the same as the 7th picture. there, the fuses are in place

@shrinkboy Yes I think because the problem persists on other inputs than phono. In FM for example, the same issue.
I have now also connected the TT to my newer pioneer amp and although it doesn't have a phono preamp, turning up the volume, it seems just fine on both channels so there will be nothing wrong with the turntable...
