hello...

i dont post often here, but i sure read quite a bit and have learned quite a bit from members. this time, i have a question about speakers, actually, a set of four. these KLH RAVE 12 speakers, here is link to their rear label:

and front view:

i have looked everywhere possible in order to locate some kind of info on these but come up with nothing but a picture; which means diddly. no prices, reviews, where to buy, etc. that said, it makes me wonder if these are legit or fake. if they are fake... no loss, but if they are real, i can make a good dollar on them. so, if anyone can please help, since i will be where these are being auctioned today, i could really use your knowledge.

if someone is able to get back to me before 2pm today, that would be awesome!

you can text me 863 279 7401 with any info or email me at : MODERATOR DELETED E-MAIL...YOU DON'T WANT SPAMMERS GETTING HOLD OF THAT!

thanks so much!!

thanks guys... thats what i figured... knowing the history of KLH.... these are just speakers of whatever quality, most likely crap, using a once great name as the selling point. appreciate it! didnt lose any money.. left that to a dumb dumb... cabs were in crap condition too... press wood as well ... crap

24-20,00 hz?

Yikes, its either terrible and someone is hoping people have no idea what a proper frequency response, or else they made a typo, or the lettering faded off.

Perhaps going off of KLH's good name, and hoping that the name carries weight, so they look like good speakers?

Who knows

The last owners of KLH put out a series of speakers, the RAVEs, that were supposed to be something akin to Cerwin Vega party boxes. They had 12-15" woofers and probably could hit close to 30hz. Those specs are mpst likely +/- 6db.

Evidently they were quite popular with the young crowd more than a decade ago?

If you want some garage duty speakers, these will probably do. They play loud and are pretty efficient but don't expect any refinement!
