Good day All.
I bought this device recently. But I can't find any information. Google gave me a 0 :) 20200730_181342.jpg 20200730_181428.jpg Face.jpg
No other labels or stamps found.
Please if anybody knows anything about this 'creature'? Manufacturer? Year?
If somebody has a schematic and/or manual. I'll be appreciated.

Take pictures of your unit and share it with us. You took a pic from Canuck audio mart and if you go to the ad, the seller clearly states that it is the same as a Trio (Kenwood) KW 55.

Most of the receivers were bought from Trio (who also made Kenwood, of course) and Toronto HiFi also sold a line of speakers that they made in-house under that name.

The recievers were great, the speakers, not so much.

Somebody attached EM84 "Magic eye" acting as power level indicator. :eek2:
Everything else looks like not bad.

I've been picking away at an ags-TRIO (aka Kenwood) KW-55 for around two years. I pick away at it from time to time. Coincidentally, some resistors for it were just delivered day before yesterday.

In any case, no wood, the face and knobs are a different colot but the dial scale and control layout look the same to me.

EDIT: And good luck. Those things need lots of component replacement as a matter of course. Or so I was told. Which is why the two year interval. .

2nd EDIT: Someone's made some replacements already but if those grey caps are original, they should go. That's one of the things I was told.

Visually there is a resemblance between that receiver and a small Electrovoice integrated amp I used to have. They just kind of looked similar in style and knobs.
 
I compared fragments of schematic. There are some difference:
1. No input indicators on front panel
2. No 5 pin European DIN connector at the back
3. KW55 has FM stereo indicator connected to "Selector" switch and come off to indicate "FM stereo" mode selected (doesn't mater if stereo broadcasted)
Worst, that in my situation somebody completely choped stereo indicator.
I checked out available photos from Internet but no one found with good quality to see how does it looks when its illuminated and when dimmed.
Please if somebody can do a pictures - how is the original looks.

That is kind of a weirdball model. It's like a cross between a Kenwood WX-400,a KW-55/60 and Lafayette LR-800.And who knows how many other models.

All manner of cosmetic and circuit differences between each of them; It's almost like they were playing pin the tail on the donkey:)

I have a WX-400,and a KW-55, and they are heavy, well made pieces of gear.
