Please help with my Pioneer SR-60 Reverb Amp.

Hello this is my first post I recently acquired a Pioneer Sr 60 reverberation amplifier I plugged it in to test it and it powers on and the display lights up but only intermittently And it produces no noticeable effects through all 3 reverb options. When I turn the sr60 on with out reverb I can hear my music get louder on my reciever I have plugged into but that's the only effect I seem to be getting. I have looked inside I don't see any leaking or bulging caps or anything that looks to need resoldered but I haven't actually been through and checked the caps yet with my meter do you think that would be the next step? Or does anyone have any other suggestions. Thank you.

this unit gets installed into a tape loop or external processor loop on an integrated amp, preamp or receiver. you should not have a tuner plugged directly into it.

It is plugged into a reciever I was meaning I was listing to the tuner function to play the radio not a stand alone tuner. I should have said reciever.

take a pic of the rear of both units so correct connection can be verified.

i've not used this exact unit but it looks like the button for "line out" needs to be pressed in as well as the reverb button and the tape monitor button will not be pressed in. rec out should not be pressed in either.
