Help we will.

Transonic-Strato A-1110. Introduced in 1978, 120WPC (DIN, 4 ohm) THD 0,05% at 0.8 rated power). 600W trafo, weighs 11,4 kg, it's actually quite a good amp. Developed in close cooperation with Nikko (probably made by Nikko). Transonic (Intermarket) was a company based in Hamburg and Nikko distributor (I think), many of their products bear striking resemblance to Nikkos.

The smaller brother of this amp was Strato A-9009, looks almost tha same, but it has 'wiper' meters instead of LEDs, less power and the locations of Loudness + Mono/Stereo switches and Hi + Low filter switches are switched.

You can find quite a lot of info about this amp (and other Transonic products) on German sites.

Cheers!

Damn man you were all over that.Nice job.

A lot of German vintage audio ends up in Poland. I've seen these amps on our local auction site, unfortunately most of them in a bad shape.

Interesting to read this thread, because here in Western Canada, a major department store used the name Transonic for their house brand small electronics, such as transistor radios, headphones, and so on.

My nephew still has a Transonic 8 transistor radio, with tuned RF stage, and it works!
