Personally i would choose between Technics SU-V460, Sony TA-F 500ES, Technics SU-VX600.
If any of you have any of those ones, please leave some impressions.
Best regards,
Iulian

I've never owned any of those amps, but the Sony is an ES, generally considered to be Sony's top line.

Those Technics amps are good :)

Have 3 V460 amps and theyre very good

Have 2 of the V6 amps also quite solid

Have the VX800, theyre very powerful so id look into that, as the 460 would be my pick over the 600

PC2002M or and M-2 ...:thmbsp:

Thank you for your answers!
Tomorrow i will make a short audition with:
Technics SU-V460
Onkyo Integra A-8650
Pioneer A-656
Yamaha A-700

@SVI2004A: is SU-V460 THAT good? Any problems with this model? Any weak points where i should pay more attention?

I saw on this form that Yamaha A-700 is a very good amplifier. Any other toughts about this one?

V460 is class AA (synchro bias with a wheatstone coupled voltage drive amp) based on SVI3205 power hybrid, this power ic is used also in much larger amplifiers, and will keep its cool in this set, the only faults to look for are the dirty contacts and pots - see deoxit, and the dry joints. (both are easily noticed by listening on tesy and both are easy fixes)

This amp will prove to be a great lifelong achiever

Another brand that is a really nice bang for the buck that is worth looking at is AudioSource..

Very well built amps, plenty of power, small profile, and very nice sounding. Lots of channel seperation... You can usually pick them up used within the price range you're looking at.

I own two of them, and they are both in use in my main system and my wife's office system.

Here's their new line-up... I have an Amp 100, and an older Amp Two...

Go for whichever amp has dual transformers and metal die T-03 output transistors. You will get much better power handling and less sag and compression at the limit.

Thank you all for your kind answers.
Tomorrow morning i will try all of them, keeping in mind your observations/recomandations.

@SVI2004A: thank you for everything mate!:thmbsp:
@similost: cannot find this kind of amplifiers around here. Thank you anyway.

Best regards,
Iulian
