Polk audio 10 inch powered subwoofer

Hi guys I’m getting my Pioneer SX 980 out of the shop soon and was wondering if I can hook the Polk 10 powered sub to it . I have Optimus 7 speakers by RS and think this would fill in the sound that I want for some of the heavy music I occasionally listen too. Theses can be switched off and price point is good . Has anyone done this ? Can you tell me how ? Thanks so much !

Just connect in parallel with your main speakers on channel "a" or, if you wish, connect them to the "b" channel. That'll make it simple to turn them on and off
