Polk Audio monitor 40's

Ok i have to admit i baught a pair for the living room surround sound to match the old monitor 4's and cs1 center with a hk avr310 not a big system but it keeps the old lady happy she can listen to what she calls music

But ill get to the story

So thay showed up today got a good deal on ebay . so i figured ill run them in on my man cave system pioneer sx-980 with some other pioneer vintage gear and im going to have to admit thay sound great thay were a bit boomy and highs were a bit crashy but ran them for about 3 hours @ roughly 5 watts and thay seemed to calm down probly could use some crossover work but not to bad well worth what i payed for them and them some

I have a pair working for a Kenwood KA305 amp. In the listening space they are assigned, they are excellent. Ordered a second pair.
