Hi, wondering if anyone has input about what kind of amp under $600 would be sufficient to push my Polk rti12s. Just beginning my set up and would appreciate your feedback. I'm still a bit green in this area of expertise. P.s. I'm waiting on a denon 3500h avr as we speak but was advised to push my fronts separately with a 2ch amp. Thank you everyone

Thank you. Hey One more question I'd like to ask. My Denon 3500 is rated at 105wpc at 8ohms. Wouldn't this be sufficient to run my Polk rti12s without adding a amp?
 
Your RTi12s are an 8 ohm load, and 90db efficient, the Denon should not have any problems driving those speakers. IMO if you do find you need, or want, an amp, get an integrated one if you can afford it. One with direct amp inputs, or home theater bypass will work with the Denon for movies. A Marantz 8005/8006 has the HT bypass, as does my Yamaha A-S1000 integrated, with a Yamaha RX-!2070 AVR. You'll have a true two channel stand-alone rig, and the integrated amp will serve as a stand-alone amp for movies.

Your AVR is rated with only 2 channels driven. Add more channels and that wpc rating drops like a lead weight because all those amp channels are sharing the same weak ass power supply. The RTi 12's are a big speaker with a lot of drivers to push therefore to properly drive them a true power amp is required.
