I was gonna maybe make an offer with a little input from the more educated folks around here
Get them if you can. I have a pair and they simply are the best speaker I have ever listened to overall. I am not sure where sarnia is or what the US dollar translates into sarnia dolllars but they go used anywhere from $1500.00 USD to over $3000.00 USD depending on condition here in the usa. If you get them make certain that when you move them that you remove at least one of the drivers to prevent damage, I reccomend the large passive radiator. They weigh 195lbs each and you will need 2 people to move them. Be aware though that this same fellow has posted on the polk forum here. http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70574 and that he currently has them on ebay here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...81851&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab=Selling Buyer beware, use your own judgement and dont pay for these online first. pay for and pick them up in person.

REGARDS JIM

Good speakers, great frequency range for such a small footprint. Maybe a little bright sounding for some tastes. Requires a large room with a flat wall for best results. There are better-sounding speakers out there but the Polks have a combination of factors that makes them unique. Probably worth around $2000, depending on how much someone else wants them. Originally sold for no more than $3200 and likely were around $2900-3000.

HOWEVER, that particular guy is a crank and I wouldn't buy from him in a million years. He refused to follow through with an earlier sale because he wanted more money. Since then he's been bitching back and forth with members of the Polk board. Avoid.

Thanks for the advice everyone and I will take it ... The last thing I want is a pain in the ass transaction ...
