Polk Audio SDA SRS for $850 in Texarkana, AR

Not too bad of a price on these Polk Audio SDA SRS in Texarkana, AR. Looks like they are the original versions...definitely not the 1.2TL's. I'm not too crazy about the white grill cloth, personally, but I'm guessing it was done to blend in to their decor. Maybe that could be used as a bartering tool.

They do pop up from time to time. Someone in Central New Jersey got a pair last month for less than $500.

They are the 1.2's I believe but you have then upside down in the picture. The original grills were black cloth.

You may be right....could be the 1.2's. Defnitely not the 1.2TL's as they don't have the SL3000 tweeters in them. If I could get a better view of the crossover plate and count the mounting screws, I could tell exactly which ones they are.

I don't have them upside down in the picture....that's how the person took them. They aren't mine.

Do these have the fabric side panels or did somebody paint them white?

Those should be the grill cloth side panels which are like my SDA SRS 2's. Pretty easy to pop off and recover. Here's a link more pictures of the SDA SRS's from the Polk SDA website.

I had a pair of SDA-2B with the fabric side panels, wasn't sure on the SRS.

If you wait long enough the side panels will just fall off of their own accord.

Good deal, but the white covers are hideous. Either original SRS or SRS 1.2, look virtually the same from pictures. Can maybe tell if you pulled one of the tweeters (usually dated on back). SRS, 1985-88, 1.2, 88-89, both listed at $3K. Remember, these babies are more than 5 feet tall and weigh 185# each, hire a couple of brawny teenagers to move them. Really need a large room and an amp with several hundred wpc to do them justice.
