I'm still a babe in the woods with all of this so I'd like some advice; currently I have a pair of Polk LS90s in Rosewood hooked up to a Yamaha AX-900U w/TX-400U...sounds pretty good to me. Is there a better amp for these speakers? I also might be able to get my hands on a Kenwood Model 600...thoughts? Also in my neck of the woods someone is selling a Carver C1000A receiver, w/ACURUS A125X5 Amp, Bose 901s, and Miller Kreisel Bass/Sub and 2 satellite model 1B speakers ($850 pkg deal-worth it?) There's also a Carver CM-1090 for $300, a Carver HT-880 ($300) and a set of Carver AL-III Speakers ($500) - I have no idea if these are worth the asking prices, are good, great or what quality of equipment. I know I've always wanted a CM-1090 cause I like the looks of it. Any advice will be great, thanks.
