Hi folks,

Newbie here - I was hoping to hear your recommendations on upgrading my setup which is currently
polk m70s hoked up to an oldie mini hi fi Sony 991AV that finally gave way.

I'm open to a whole new setup - so if you have an alternative setup suggestion, I welcome your advice!

here's the full details:

I am a musician with super sensitive ears and love clarity of hearing each instrument
The audio would be music mainly - world, jazz, pop, folk, singer/songwriter, funk, soul.

The room is about 10.6 ' x 18 ' (including 4 windows and approx 13 feet ceiling)
- source ranges from spotify to vinyl
- I would IDEALLY (but not required) fit the receiver in my bookshelf which is
10.5 inches deep & 14 inches wide (IKEA Billy bookshelf)
- I'm looking to be able to add on devices like a cd player and cassette player (if not already built in)
- I have an Audio Technica AT- LP60 record player to plug in
- I'd like a remote
- wi-fi capability/bluetooth for computer
- love ability to tinker with EQ

Budget - l'm a fan of getting bang for the buck- Thinking up to $500 ish range for the receiver or $1000 total for whole setup - I'm prepared to trade the polks or stretch especially if it means for longevity..

Alrighty audio geniuses....whatchya got?!
