Polk R200 with Rotel A11 Tribute

Hi, I'm new in this forum and I have a question. I've ordered a pair of R200 and am also planning to get a Rotel A11 Tribute intigrated amp. I never had an opportunity to audition any of these two gears. So my question is, do you think that A11 will be a good match with the Polk R200? Currently I have a Marantz PM5005 and want to upgrade to A11. Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thank you in advance.

Probably a good choice with the Polks. Lots of good press anyway, for whatever that's worth.

I think the Rotel will do well with the R200's. But I would imagine the Marantz would too.

Well, this a WAY too late a response to the OP, but I just saw this, so...
The Rotel A-11Tribute and Polk Audio R-200 Speakers work wonderfully together: they easily pass the "I forgot I was listening to the equipment and just enjoyed the music" test. These speakers also sound great with every vintage amp / receiver I have tried them with, including many hours on a Marantz 2275 (Sui AU-717 and Yam CA-1010 really nice, as well). Again, sorry for the late response, but this will be a great speaker, especially in terms of bang for buck, for a lot of situations, so hopefully still helpful in 2025. Of course, everyone hears differently (literally), so if new, make sure the seller has a god "try it out" return policy...but I think these will generally stay with happy owners for many years ; )

yeah i was looking at this Rotel as well. i have KEF C85s, yes, 85s i bought from a Brit here in Charleston. 90dB and 4ohms. Rotel claims 65w at 4 ohms which should be ok for my apartment listening space. the vintage vibe of frequent repairs to my Sansui is wearing thin. Sadly there is no local dealer for *any* stereo equip except the box store, if you like Sony and Denon.

what i would really like is the A11 without the bluetooth and digital inputs, but a bit more power.
