I had to make my own interconnect using speaker cable learning the hard way that polarities should not be crossed on the interconnect pins. On my SDA-1's , looking toward the back of the speakers, wires should match up outside pin/outside pin and inside/inside. I blew a transistor on my test amp mis-wiring them. Also a snug fit is essential as ohm resistance can drop to low..at least that was my experience. Wire up and enjoy.

With Pin/Blade, you only need to connect the two pin connections. I added a extra binding post to mine to make things easier since I don't have a cable either.

As for the tweeters not working, it's very possible they're blown. I would replace the two regular(outside) tweeters and wouldn't bother with the inside(dimensional) tweeters.

The earlier CRS models with the two side by side tweeters use the blade/blade cable, not the pin/blade type. Polk still sells the blade/blade version, runs about $35.00.
