Well worth the money if all is functional and they are in excellent appearance....... however, the passive woofers look all wrong to me. These big Polks never had center caps on the passives.

Best,

Paul

John, you are correct, thanks for the heads up. :thmbsp:

My bad. :nono:

Someone go get those 3.1tl's. Here's a link to Polk site, woofers ARE correct.
I had a pair of these a while ago, just can't remember sometimes!

Here's a link to info from Polk:

http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/recent/srs31tl/

Flat passives on the 2.3, 2.3tl, SDA-SRS, SDA SRS 1.2, SDA SRS 1.2tl.

Best,

Paul

If that was Chicago's CL, I'd really think about it. Too many speaker-species in my habitat already, though.

I could go get them for you.. I am half way from you and the speakers. :thmbsp::D

I'd use pretty much any excuse to go to Milwaukee, I love that city, but there is absolutely no room at my place for those. I bet they're really nice, though. You should get them and tell me how great they are.

I am so broke right now I can't even pay attention! hehe I would love to have these in the listening room but am financially strapped at this point. Hopefully the wife will get back some of the hours that were cut and we can get back on our feet.

Good luck, man. Things will pick up.

Thanks John. We are not in dire straights but it can get uncomfortable at times. There are people far worse off than we are. We are grateful for everything we have and the people that we surround ourselves with. :thmbsp: It's all good. Here I am complaining how bad it can be when I am going to possibly buy a couple hundred LPs on Saturday. Disregard everything above... :scratch2:

I hear ya. 20 people laid off today where I work. I feel bad as many are friends. So far....I'm still there.......feels good but the numbers to cut get smaller with every layoff. :nono:

Here's hoping this country turns around B4 it's too late. Our manufacturing base has already practically disappeared. :nono:

Best,

Paul
