Polk SDA2 speakers, whats wrong with the tweeter?

Appears to be a cone tweeter from a rack system speaker.

Wrong tweeter, probably overdriven/underpowered and blew the original SL2000's. It will cost you another $50-$100 to replace with original or upgrade to newer Polk tweeter.
