I set up a saved search.
Once I get my new passive resonator and set these babies up I'll be able to do an A/B comparison to my Monitor 5As with Peerless tweeters.
I guess its apples and oranges though.

Kinda. Do the 5A's have the larger passive radiator?

There is another version, later I think, 5jr's?, with a smaller passive. Another AK'r just picked a set up. Thay had the clear mylar domes also.

I had to check... I honestly can barely remember the model numbers I own let alone all the whacky variations from back then.

If you punch this into google and hit the first result you'll find a nice pdf that has all of the Monitors through the years and their specs with pictures:

It looks like the 5jr's use an 8" PR also.
