Never heard an 8080db in person and probably never will. Side by side comparisons would be a critical element in choosing one over the other. So I did not vote. I am inclined towards separates, but that doesn't say I would not give a receiver a hearing. I have an AU7900 that wants to find a TU7900 to marry, and although one has been available, I can't justify the $500 Cdn for it since FM radio is not worth listening to.
