The 1st skit was a take off of a Candid Camera skit. I undergrad school I needed a basket weaving level course to graduate so took a course in laughter. The prof was a writer for Candid Camera, Jack Benny and Dick Van Dyke at onetime or another and has an amazing collection of 16mm films for some of their skits either in practice or as presented. Imagine 8 weeks x 6 hours per week having to go to that class and subjected to that type of lecture. The class had 30 official students but at any time there were close to 200 visitors.
