Never having to wash the car again, or getting the salt off underneath. Windshields.

Womens hair spray. Clothing. Spectacles.

Vinyl records?

The loo.

Road Signs.

Great Idea.

Neat. $159 total for 1 quart each of bottom + topcoat. A bit spendy.

I wonder if it has any significant aerodynamic effects.

Very cool. They have something pretty spectacular there.

I wonder what it do when applied to the hull of a ship.

Hopefully it will get a lot cheaper. We're using a lot of technologies every day that started out being only affordable by aerospace and other high tech industries.

Just think of the jokes you could play with it. Coat a roll of toilet paper with it and put it in your bathroom. Would be funny till some one grabbed a towel.

Treat a paintbrush or roller with it and watch the fun!

Treat an artist's canvas with it and watch them cut off their ear!

Cool. Wonder how well it works with supercooled droplets. It could be used as anti-icing coating on aircraft.

Thats pretty cool stuff. I do wonder about the long-term durability though. If it doesn't damage the material, I could certainly see value in coating boots, gloves, and coats in this stuff. No more need for wearing the plastic rain gear, just wear whatever and the water just beads away.

Great, another 'nanotech' product that we'll probably find out later kills off half the human race. Actually the base coat looks like you'd want good filters in your mask before use.
