Poor mans hdmi cable ? Vs high end?

I was lookin at monoprice what’s different between gps ? 10.2 and 18gbs , why are there cables so thin gauge ? 32-28awg how do these poor mans cables like what I will buy?

What do flagship or even high to mid range cables look like and perform ?
Any affordable quality ones !
Dedication to hdmi !!
And what specific cables do you prefer?

You need the 18gbs if you have a 4K tv with HDR so there is definitely a difference between the 12 and 18 . Now as far as cable thickness etc etc I wouldn’t put much stake in that , you just want a good shielded cable .

Also some of the really cheap cables won’t be compatible with HDCP 2.2 and can’t pass the data needed to push that therefore a solid 18gbps hdmi cable is highly recommended, doesn’t have to be crazy expensive but definitely don’t want crazy cheap either .

These are really good meet all the standards and won’t break the bank I use them with my LG 65C8 Oled tv and oppo udp-203 and they work excellent.
