Possible St. Louis Area Score Zenith mono amp

The Savers In Fairview Heights Illinois, 10 minutes from downtown St. Louis, has a huge Zenith speaker box, Chassis 5B24, with the tube amp, SRS10 or 15, still inside. The speakers are gone but the amp is there.

The power cord is cut and the tubes are also gone but the amp looks to be in really good condition (possibly a kid just wanting the big woofer for his car). No rust at all that I could see schematics and info still glued in the speaker cab. It's got 4 or 5.99 on it.

It's been out for a while and is going to be junked soon so if you want it you need to get it soon.

Powered speakers? Not uncommon, even in the pro audio world.

When I was a kid, I had Acoustic 360 bass amps. They had the preamp on the top, and 350 watt tube rigs inside the cabs. This is what John Paul Jones used in the day (now he uses Eden amplification IIRC).

Aux speaker to convert a mono console to stereo most likely. Less common than the main console honestly but it showed up a lot in the late 50s.

I went back and checked the price again. It's $4.99. I would think it's a steal even if you are just going to flip it on eBay. It's going to be scrapped next week if nobody buys it.
