Well, Army made a significant post with his #2,000. (Thanks, buddy!) Manitoulin had warm words of thanks to AK, with his #1,000.

I thought to myself, "Self, what is your count, anyway? 3200!?!?! How the hell did THAT happen?" Last time I looked, it was 2700-something. You people have put up with me saying almost nothing, in 3200 posts, and haven't kicked me off! See, that is what friendship is about. Your friend says nothing of consequence, a lot, but it doesn't matter. You keep your friend around, anyway, 'cause that's what friends do.

To those of you who put up with me, in spite of myself, thank you.

There is no other place, anything like this place, anywhere near this place, so THIS MUST BE THE PLACE!!

I refuse to indulge in the practice of making gratuitous posts merely to raise my count. Not that I'm accusing you of anything. Just chiming in.

LV if "putting up with you" is bad, then I wish there were more bad people here who thought like you do:D I have often wondered if the post counts were accurate, anyways.

Thanks, for the kind words, gentlemen.

Tom, when I deleted one of my posts, my count went down by one. When the Admins get busy, and purge the database, the postcount, for AK, goes down by thousands.

My conclusion: Accurate.
 
Photobitstream, there are very few people here that post for the number count. We may chime in with quick responses, but I doubt that the serious AK members with counts over 500 are posting for the numbers.

We are family here and like many family conversations, simple answers can sometimes be the best.

Yeah, I knew that. I was just giving him sh*t, as any good family member would do. :naughty:

At least in my extended family (Kerrville Folk Festival) we do. Seems we're all incurable smartasses. Keeps us from taking each other too seriously.

yeah, i've been here, post whoring it up, but most of them have been with some kind of point somewhere. i think.
