Potato and Leek Soup

We made this recipe tonight....and man was it good!

Added a couple cloves of garlic and most of a shallot (minced) to the very simple recipe. Great for a cold winter night.

Great thread guys, made my first potato leek soup from a knorr mix. Fast and easy, never had it before. I like it enough to try one of these versions.

Funny story, it took me a LONG time to find leeks in the grocery store this summer because I had no clue what they looked like. Surely I looked like an idiot staring into the fresh vegetable case for 15 minutes.
