Hi, I got a denon drm 740 off an ebay seller for less than £30, it looks in great conditions and the seller stated it was in good working order....I was really looking forward to start using it!
Plugged in, power switch on, the display partly light up for half a second and then fades, the right capstan turns also for half a second and then everything goes dead, no play/rec,no functions at all can be accessed....
grateful if someone could have any idea of what might be the problem,and if it could be a relatively cheap fix, I am a total beginner in tape deck tech but I'm a fast learner ;-) !
