Power Rating: Adcom GFA-545II Vs. Yamaha CR-1000

So, I'm trying to figure out (on paper) which of these amps is more powerful. In their manuals, the power is classified in different ways. Is it possible to quantify the different in power output between these two amps from the documentation alone?

The Adcom is the more powerful amplifier based on the specs, the last continuous RMS power listing (20-20,000Hz) of the Yamaha are the specs to compare to the Adcom in an apples-to-apples manner. At 8 ohms the Adcom outputs 100 watts to the 70 of the Yamaha, and at 4 ohms the Adcom outputs almost 2x the Yamaha. Of course, this assumes that both amps are in good working order as neither is new.

That is power only, and one may sound better than the other to a listener regardless of how much power they output.
