In case anybody is interested. I have been using a DE-5000 and getting tired of it going off and having to recalibrate.....and I am cheap. I picked up one of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/AC-100V-24...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
For $7.65 including tax and shipping, shaved a little plastic off the base of the DC plug and it seems to work fine.
