Power transformer spec'd for regulated power supply?

Some tube amps followed me home a few weeks ago and amongst the stuff is a Chicago PSC-165 power transformer which according to their catalogue is for regulated power supplies. Aside from that, here are the specs:

440-0-440
165ma
5.0v 3.0a
6.3v 0.6a
6.3v 3.0a
6.3v 3.0a
6.3v 7.5a

Just curious what happens if the power supply isn't regulated? Will it be the end of the world as we know it?

It looks like it would be nice for building a mono 6550 integrated amp maybe using an Eiclone board.

The reason it is specd for a regulated Supply is that regulated tube supplies need separate filament windings for the pass and and amp tubes , plus a couple more for what your are building the regulated supply into .

I had a couple of those and traded them away for something else i need more , 165 Ma wasn't large enough for what i wanted to do at the time .

I have a pair of eiclone boards that will be used with 5881's
