Powered speakers to a vintage receiver without a Pre-out Help.

Hey new member here just looking for some audio help!

I'm going to keep this nice and simple, I have a pair of Yamaha Ps-100 powered speaker columns and I wish to pair it with a vintage Pioneer SX-750 stereo receiver. I want to be able to listen to my record collection through this set up if there is any way.

Is this possible { Yes/ No }
If yes what can I do to get the needle rolling?

I would try the headphone jack and/or the Tape/Rec (ouput) turn down volume knobs first. Probably not the best setup.

Tape out? I guess that works, assuming willingness to control volume using the speakers' volume control...if they have one!!! Otherwise, no go.

Headphone jack seems a better option, depending upon how it sounds.

Got any pics of those powered speakers? My google search comes up as a Yamaha keyboard.

If they have a volume control then you can use them from tape/rec out but you won't have use of any tone controls from the Pioneer. Headphone out would work. Not ideal, but would work.

Okay, I clicked directly on your link and that is what came up. I then clicked on the address bar and copied it. This is what it shows on my post. Weird. Like I said, I googled Yamaha ps-100 and all I get are the keyboards. Hmm.

I might have a virus. I'll have to check into it. I just went back and clicked on your link again for the 5th time and the powered speakers popped up. I am mad.....not at you but my computer.

But you see that I did type it in correctly.
