Hi!

I'm looking to upgrade my preamp. I currently have a Parasound P3, although happy whith the sound it has bad S/N ratio, i can hear the hiss in the background when close to the speakers... and as you know, once you hear it, you can't unhear it...

My requirements are:

-Digitaly controlled analog volume control. No pots... I'm very sensitive to channel imbalance.
-Onboard phono stage MM or MM + MC preferably.
-One balanced input or more.
-3 or more RCA line level inputs.
-2 RCA outputs or RCA + Subwoofer.

I've seen Rotel lineup and looks appealing. Any alternative you can think of?

Thank you!

Hola! @toroechado

This subforum you posted your question in does not see a lot of views and or responses.

If it were me I would have a Moderator move the thread for you to say the Solid State or General Audio Discussion forum.

I believe most if not all if those have pots. The Parasound Halo P6 is an option, but not cheap. I’ve got the latest Hint, with a P6 built in. The volume is very well done, but I’m not sure it has 2 sets of rca outs. One set of rca and one set of XLR.
