Preamp recommendation for Moscode 300

I’ve recently purchased my first tube (hybrid) component after being a staunch Sansui SS enthusiast the last 5 years. Currently using my Sansui AU-9500 as the pre for the Moscode 300, playing through DCM TF-600 speakers. The setup sounds great, but I’m looking to get a separate preamp, ideally with phono. I’m on the fence between getting a tube preamp or SS. I don’t have a huge budget, but I’m curious as to what type/model of preamp people recommend based on your experience with amps like the Moscode. Recommendations?

I had to google this to find out the input impedance is listed at 247k ohms, so you can use pretty much anything. Did Sansui make a stand alone preamp?

I suppose the official pairing would be a Moscode Minuet or Minuet in A, but good luck finding one. I'm the only person I know who has one. And no I don't want to sell it :)
 
A Minuet would be nice, but yes, tough to come by and therefore expensive!

Jeff, yes Sansui made a couple decent preamps, I was just seeing if anybody else had found any magic synergy with any other specific pieces I should be searching for. In the meantime I'll just enjoy it as is.

I have a 300 also. I use a vacum tube Aric Audio unlimited pre amp. Mine doesn't have phone. I use a lounge audio phono pre.
