when I was about twelve; hanging out at local store / crab shack. owner's brother in law stopped by. somebody noticed his gas can was leaking in the back of his pickup. he ran to take care of it and I suggested he take the lit cigarette out of his mouth (he did). the woman owner said 'that boy probably saved your life'.
lit cigarettes and open gas cans do NOT play well together.
glad I could help.
el next had his/her life saved once.
