Prediction!

False.

TPBM has spent at least one night in a place with no electricity, no gas, no land line or mobile phone or Wi-Fi coverage.

True. Camping with the Boy Scouts for Freeze Out. It was 35 below with the wind chill. I'll never forget that.

TPBM has sewn and repaired their own clothes.

True!

TPBM has either driven Rt. 66 OR hiked the Appalachian trail.

True - Never hiked the Appalachian Trail, but Rte. 66: In 1968 [?] drove along parts that were being turned into interstate. Have been on the cross-Illinois drive a couple of times with the IL Rte. 66 Association. Have walked UNDER old Rte. 66 in an old gold mine in Arizona.

TPBM lives near another historic highway.

Um, false ... IS there another historic highway? PCH, I guess. Well, we're only about 90 miles away from that, so true, maybe.

TPBM would like to traverse whatever remains of Rte. 66, but only if he/she can do it in a vintage Corvette.

Response to #3053 noogies

True. But in ANY Corvette if that counts. And the theme was one of the best! Wasn't that Nelson Riddle?
To old tv nut 3054
Didn't do the link because I've been contemplating doing the Lincoln Highway for a couple of years. Well worth exploring pre-interstate America!

(Hope I didn't violate any rules for this forum....)

TPBM has shown a high-school bully he was picking on the wrong guy!

False - I wasn't that tough, but I was clever enough to make good friends with someone who was :naughty: (so, 'true' in a sense ;))

TPBM remembers their school days with fond memories.

Rather true than false. Maths was a nightmare, almost anything else was fine.

TPBM remembers his first day of school very well.

True. I remember Dad pulling the buckboard up to the front of the building and the schoolmarm waving at us.

TPBM feels younger than they look.

True. (he is very good in the wet, and Vettel is off form at the moment).

TPBM is concerned about the extreme rivalry between Rosberg & Hamilton.

I am unanimous in that opinion.

TPBM gets a chuckle from Spoonerisms, like "Beeping Sleuty and the Prandsome Hince."
