Prediction!

Yes, and it was delish! Sweet as honey and juicy with big, tender kernels. Three bites was a mouthful. Don't give me me any of that small, pansy peaches & cream stuff. I want big ol' yeller ears with that real corn taste!

TPBM prefers yellow corn over peaches & cream too.

No! Peaches and Cream over that yellow cattle corn!

TPBM Would not eat liver and onions, even on a deserted island, and it was the only source of food available. :-(

Yuppy heathen!;)

I loves me some live and onions! With mashed potatoes and gravy all over it...and maybe even an ear of YELLOW CORN on the side!

TPBM would not eat yellow liver.

You are really one "sick puppy", my friend.;)

But, hey...each to their own, eh?

I'm still trying to get past...oysters and snail!

Problem being from the West, wherein steak rules. :bigok:

Well, I think we can both agree to that one. I'm not really a fan of those either. lol Although, I have had, and enjoyed, squid and those tiny little octopus in the past.

I actually haven't had a steak in years! Other than the odd hamburger or chili, I mostly eat chicken and pork.

True...and some kidney, spleen, and maybe some thigh meat and ribs too. ;)

TPBM has eaten elk. I had a wild elk burger when I visited Colorado in 2015 and it was delicious!

Thank you!

Gotta get AB beef! The meat products you endure in the East...sucks! And if you ever get a good chunk of Buff...you won't go back to beef.

But gotta go with the Pickerel from Northern ON. Nothing compares to that out in high country.

That's probably why I don't eat steak often. lol Agreed about the FEESH. Although, the temperature of water it was caught from makes a huge difference too.

True ( I had Elk Roast, Elk Burgers, Elk Jerky, all were excellent.)

TPBM eats roasted veggies often.

I don't know why not. I like them but seldom cook them that way.

DNU: regarding elk, I'd like to try it some time. I've eaten venison, buffalo, and ostrich - and a taste of alligator. I read that early arctic explorers that attempted to survive on only elk meat suffered malnutrition because it is so lean that it needs to be supplemented with something fatty to allow the protein to be digested.
End DNU

TPBM will recommend some other unusual meat (that doesn't taste like chicken). :p

False. I don't have anything from the garden that I'd be able to can/jar. I have tomatoes, but I always eat those fresh. Sadly, I used to have a sour cherry tree that I used to get about 15-20 jars of jam from every year, but it died about 7-8 years ago. :(

TPBM had a beloved fruit tree of some kind that died that you miss.
