Prediction!

Indeed, I have "both" as have lived mostly in the west wherein it's part of life there.

TPBM would rather go on a month cruise than stay in county of your choosing.

Q

False - the cruise would be a nightmare for me.

TPBM has an emergency kit in their vehicle.

Not a very organized kit, but I do have a flashlight, jumper cables, a first aid kit, plus pliers and screwdriver that probably won't be useful for anything that actually happens. Car has mini spare, jack etc. rather than an inflator can, but it would have to be really dire for me to change a tire myself anymore. I also constantly carry a medium weight jacket (desert nights can get cold even in summer), shop blankets (that may have been borrowed by my dad from the Ford garage when I was a wee one) and a broad-brimmed summer hat with neck flap, a bottle or two of water, and cellphone charging cable. (Actually, the new car has a wireless charging shelf.)

TPBM has come to the realization that their cell phone is probably the most useful car emergency gear for them.

Not really, as reduced down to 33-1/3 and 45's due to downsizing.

TPBM if to upgrade would do so with the power source rather than the speakers.

Q

Nope, my speakers, although adequate, are the weakest part of my system, so...

TPBM has a detailed inventory (spreadsheet, Discogs, etc) of their music collection.

Not in the pro-sense, but just minor repair in my garage.

TPBM intends or would like to take a train trip through the mountains.

Q

True. ( I have both, but use receivers more often)

TPBM still listens to FM radio in the car.
