Check out this purdy 2216. 50$. good price, but I had to go through relative thrift shop hell to get it...4 days later after initially picking it up... long story

Anyhow, it needs deoxit, and new lamps.

2 questions:

1. On a recent "deoxit alternative" thread someone mentioned Guitar Center as carrying deoxit. I checked their site and all I could find was deoxit WITHOUT the obvious red tube/straw in the pictures, does that mean it's not the right type? Or is the inclusion of the straw assumed to be part of every 5oz "normal" red can of deoxit?
second question is. Has anyone replaced the lamps in their 22xx series Marantz receivers? how difficult is it to access? I'm going to open them up eventually, but my drill is not functioning and my carpal tunnel (from wire-stripping) kills me with a regular screwdriver.

She looks pretty clean. Nice snag.

As far as De-Oxit -- every can I've bought has come with the tube. If it doesn't, I would guess another tube from any other can would suffice (after it's been cleaned out, of course.)

Mint 'cept for a small set of numbers scratched on the faceplate (VERY small) :D

Thanks for the deoxit info.

I've found that it's usually a bit cheaper in the store - and if you give them your address, they'll routinely send you 40% off one item coupons - at least mine does. There are three locations in Maryland, I'd imagine that one of them isn't too far away.

Alright thanks, There's one within 3 miles of my house so I'll check it out tomorrow. Would have just ordered it online, but I have to take the amp on a trip on friday
