Hello,

I was looking around for a turntable and while buying a preamp the guy mentioned he was selling his prized TT. I didn’t get the specific arm model, but this dude is into some pretty high end stuff.

Here’s some photos he texted me:

I believe that’s a Sumiko Mmt tonearm. Nice looking table, I’d be interested in knowing about that plinth. It’s some sort of custom but knowing how it was constructed and of what would make a difference in the value.

Let’s assume it was done professionally because that’s the vibe I got from the dude. He has a dealer he dealt with and all that jazz.

I'd like to have the original dust cover
The table isn't a lot of money couple c-notes as there have been some sold for a few hundred with arms I'd swap out.
The arm has a value but I don't know off hand what it is, knowing more about vintage arms.
The seller has this table priced @895 on USAM with a Hana cartridge, two dust covers, a record weight and that Funk platter mat.

Some research should bring up the values of some of those items. Jelco has left the tonearm business and I don't know how that will affect the value of their arms.

I would say that's about the cost of each part put together with the plinth thrown in. Would take a bit of price cut to move such highly customized TT.
