I saw that one, too! It made me laugh, because I would never buy any speakers with that kind of review...
:D

Did you catch the typo. He spelled them Dogg instead of Dog.

Actually they could be nice for all I know, but I doubt it

I bought my speakers from the back of a pick-up.
The guy gave a story of the orginal person canceled the order at the last
minute. Long story short I bought for $200 bucks. I hooked them up
with some thick audio cables and I was impressed. Currently use as surround sound system. Great investment for $200 bucks. Plus they look really expensive next to my new flat screen.

From that review site. Looks like they're white van. Sure are nice lookin' though.

If they were less than $50 I'd pick them up just for the cabinets, then I'd put new drivers and crossover in.

Dogg Digital?? More like Dogg ****.

The cabinets aren't worth that much. Heck, they probably wouldn't even make very good firewood.

The Dogg Digital Model PB4U-69. The Dogg Digital K9 tweeter can reproduce a pure dog whistle tone at a spl of 130db @ 1 meter. The Dogg Digital DoggyStyle Dual WOOFer systems 15hz subterranean bass response will impress you with it's finesse and have you begging and drooling for more. Finished in genuine Dogwood veneer and built with pride by skilled craftsmen in Dogtown, MA. For the ultimate in aural ecstasy, it's Dogg Digital.

Canuck, you would never consider reusing the cabs if you looked at one of these in person. The cabinets are as worthless as the drivers and "crossover" (which is usually a very cheap, low voltage electrolytic cap). Not only do they fail the rap test, you could probably damage them if you knocked to hard. Anybody selling these for $1,200 should be arrested for fraud. The FTC should go after the importers of this crap. Their sole purpose, combined with the deceptive packaging and bogus web sites, is to defraud Americans. Flag 'em as spam. It's not a legitimate ad. The photo of the ones in Atlanta is pretty funny. You can tell what the owner really thinks of them. They didn't even bother to remove the junk on top and around them before they took the pic.

Yeah, most of the white van stuff looks OK from ten feet away, but looks like complete garbage from five feet, and a total train wreck from a foot away!
