I have ordered a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit DC with an acrylic platter
I was wondering if i should use a mat, most say yes including the manual

What i was wondering is, what if the motor has so much torch that the record for a split second can't keep up with the torch/rpm of the acrylic platter and than theres a scratch?
I have a analogis matt three acrylic clear, first time i used it there was so much power from the motor, platter that i got at scratch on the acrylic mat.
