It could be printed on but most likely vinyl sticker, a hair dryer/heat gun could work. Then a polish job and or just paint it the color you like.

You can spend $50 for a used table that will better what your looking at. The used market is wide open and you never know what you can get at what price. I'v bought a Pioneer PL- 514X for $2.00 at a garage sale befor that was very clean with a cartridge. I bough a $3500 SOTA and ET arm for $800 also, these are not going prices at all.

But anyway a run of the mill $200-$400 old used table can and will better what your looking at.
 
I agree with 427, you'll be much better off with even a mid line vintage from one of the top manufacturers.
If un-refurbished, perhaps better off with a belt drive - unless you like tinkering with electronics or have support nearby.
Plus you'll probably enjoy the semi/full auto functions that many have.
If you must have new, I would suggest a Music Hall 2.2 or 2.3, better designed than the Projects.

Those Pioneers look nice as does the Luxman.
Perhaps others know more about the particulars of those particular models.
 
OP might want to read some threads re the Carbon here at HK, not all glowing with praise as on Amazon. With vintage you have a better chance of getting a higher performing table for the same or less money and occasionally outright steals. If chosen wisely expect the table to be in excellent shape from a loving owner and requiring no maintenance. Not intended but many of these tables are still going strong 40-50 years later and with care could well go another 40-50 years, that kind of design, materials and build quality is not often found today and if you do you will pay thru the nose.
 
That Pioneer will kick the dick off of that Pro-ject. I had a debut III for years before I got into vintage, and my vintage tables all outperform it for less money.

If it’s in good shape and all functions work, that’s a good price, especially if the cartridge is any good and has a newer stylus.
 
Trying to avoid D&S material price is very reasonable for the PL-560, you can check Ebay recent completed sales of that model and figure out the average price include the cost of shipping which can be significant when done right, I'd say it's a desirable model and a cartridge looks to be included, if a nice vintage cartridge the cartridge alone can be worth what the seller is asking for the table, local pickup so no worry about damage in shipping, you can audition/listen to the table before you buy, I wouldn't wait very long before going to check it out, big plus if its being sold by an original owner mature adult that treated it like his baby. As for the Project Carbon compared to the Pioneer PL560 the Carbon is a light weight kids toy turntable that isn't worth $25.

Check Vinyl Engine site they have a library according to mfg, should give specs, also do AK Google search here to see if any info. Should read Audio Technica, doesn't ring a bell re model number of ones I'v heard of.

Well I picked it up today. Was in great shape and had new feet installed. Gonna clean/polish up the dust cover

Wondering if I should just replace the stylus or go ahead and get a whole new cart?
 
Yes!

Have no idea how to quote on mobile but I mean to get a new stylus and a new cartridge. You won’t regret having a backup, a comparison, and an alternative for certain records.
