pro-ject maia preamplifier

Hello. I am looking for a budget, compact, all-in-one type of preamplifier that can be coupled with my Eve SC207 studio monitors. It doesn't need to be a great one. If the sound is clear enough for listening music and does what it is supposed to do, I would be fine with it. Thanks for the advice. What do you think about this preamlifiers quality? Has anyone ever used the preamp version? If yes, could you comment on it?

I have an emotiva BasX-PT 100 that is really nice. Has plenty of inputs, a phono preamp that can be used with MC cartridge, a remote and with their $50 bluetooth receiver can be used to stream music as well. Also has an FM tuner built in.
I've had it for about a month and it sounds great.
