Pro Linear Stage 5 Speakers

A pair popped up locally for $70. Is this a good deal? I was looking to put these in my main system to replace my JBL 800's. I can't get much on these online so I am assuming these are 8 ohm impedance?

I have a pair of the Stage 50 Series II - they sound fine and are pretty powerful for their size.

I think you're right about the 8 Ohm, but I can't help much beyond that.

Those may have been locally(Vancouver) made and carried by local audio chains like A&B Sound.

I remember one of my co-worker had them for his Sansui quad receiver.

They still come up for sale on Craigslist often.
