problem with Onkyo RI cable and Digital out

I just bought the onkyo ns 6130, and until now i'm very disappointed, here is the most disturbing issue.

I attach NS-6130 to the A-9010 amplifier with a RI cable. When i start playing music from the Network Player it always switch the amplifier on the Digital input, but the digital player is connected to the network player via analog cables. And in a menu of the digital player I disabled an option saying 'digital out'

The issue is even worse, because if using the NS remote try to switch the Amplifier the correct analog input, the NS stops playing the music!

Only way to solve is not use the RI cable, but this way i'm losing the advantage of having of a same brand audio setup...

Hi there. I had the exact same problem as you. Connect the NS6130 in to line 2 on the A9010. That is automatically selected when using an R.I cable. I figured it out after a few hours of frustration.

I have the same problem and I can't solve it.
I connect the NS-6170 to the A-9010. I want to use the analog output of the NS (because of the better 2xDACs).
If I add RI-Cable - when I start 6170 to play 9010 goes to D2 input (which only flashes without playing), if then (for a sample) switches 9010 to Line2 then 6170 stops playing.
The same happens if there is an optical connection from 6170 to D2 of 9010 at the same time. The same is true when the digital out is turned off from the settings of 6170.
Has anyone managed to find a solution to the situation?
